Who you are dealing with
Courses on this website are sold and taught by Shannon English Academy, 14 Thomas Street, Limerick V94 E2K7. You can reach us at roryquinn1007@maildrop.cc.
Shannon English Academy is run by Rory Quinn as a sole trader.
This website and our student portal run on SprintUp Education, an online platform for schools. Your agreement for a course is with Shannon English Academy, not with SprintUp Education.
Enrolling on a course
To enrol you create a student account, choose a course and pay for it online. Your place is confirmed when your payment is received.
Prices and payment
The price of each course is shown on its page before you pay. Card payments are handled by Stripe, a payment provider.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel within 14 days of paying, without giving a reason, by writing to roryquinn1007@maildrop.cc, and we refund what you paid within 14 days. If your course has already started at your request, we may keep the part of the price that covers the lessons already given.
After the first 14 days, if you have to stop for a medical reason, we refund the classes you have not yet attended.
If we change or cancel a course
If we cancel a course before it starts, we refund what you paid in full. If we have to move a lesson, we tell you as early as we can.
Your account and conduct
Keep your password to yourself; your account is for you only. Course materials are for your own learning: please do not share them.
Your rights and the law that applies
Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer. These terms are governed by the law of the country where Shannon English Academy is established.
